(cheery ukulele pop music) – Hey everyone, how’s it going? It’s me Ann, and, – Eric! – [Ann] So, we’re getting together today to bring you guys some new wedding DIYs and we also partner up with Keurig and The Knot.
In today’s video, I want to share with you guys some wedding DIYs and these are great ideas that you can do together with your friends and family. – What’s great about these projects is it could help you create this memorable moment. – DIYs are great bonding activities, I think. – Completely agree with you on that one.
– So, let’s get started with this guys. – Let’s get started. – [Ann] Wedding planning is like entertaining at home. It can get stressful, unless there is some compromise. Keurig and The Knot’s Yours, Mine and Ours Project shares the spirit of sharing a moment together with everyone’s personal touch, just like my DIYs.
The Keurig Brewer makes it easy to meet each person’s individual taste. Let’s make a drink for everyone and get started with these DIYs. (bouncy cheery pop) We are making ceremony schedules as hand-held fans.
You will need some popsicle sticks and a printing of your ceremony. Fold the paper in half, down the middle.
Cut off any unneeded edges, just like so, and on one side of your card, glue the popscicle stick to the center. Then, place the glue around edges and then gently press the other side of the page on top. Repeat the same steps to all the copies and, now, you have fans for your guests to read and enjoy.
Every time I go to a wedding or a party, I always wonder where to place the gift or card. This is a really cute idea I’ve seen around and so, I’m going to show you my version of a suitcase card holder.
To make this, you will need a suitcase. I found mine from a thrift shop. There are so many ways you could decorate your suitcase and paint it in different colors. If you are that amazing friend and making this for the bride and groom-to-be and they have a different favorite colors, a good compromise would be to use a neutral color like white. When painting this, make sure to wait completely for the paint to dry before spraying on your next coat.
While you wait for the paint to dry, let’s work on the banner. If you can’t find chalkboard banners like this, no worries. You can use any craft paper of your choice. Next, write our any messages on your banners.
I am going to write the word “cards.” Hang your bannner onto a string, and now it’s time to hang it up on your suitcase. To hang this, it really depends on the design of your suitcase. I’m dabbing glue on each corner, but you can also tie this if you can. Give this a bridal feel by adding in some fluffy white tulle to cover the bottom.
And, once you’re done, you should have a presentable, beautiful looking card holder like this. This last DIY is a party favor that is really simple but something personal for each guest.
Minerals and crystals are so beautiful and can also symbolize many positive reminders through many cultures.
As a way to give good vibes to your guests when they leave, gift them these cute and shiny crystals.
Select minerals or crystal that complements to your day and celebration. Type out the wonderful meanings that each crystal or color symbolizes. This will remind everyone how special they are. Put the crystal or mineral into a little organza gift bag along with the notes.
Each guest will receive a crystal with a positive reminder. Planning a wedding can be stressful on a couple, but in the end, you find ways to compromise to make both bride and groom happy.
All right guys, thank you all so much for watching. I really hope you enjoy all these DIYs and whether if you’re making this for a shower or for a wedding or for other parties, think about the memories that you are creating before the big date. And, I hope you all enjoy these DIYs.
Let me know which one is your favorite below and which one you will be creating. – And, thank you so much for Keurig and The Knot for collaborating with us on this cool project. – Talk to you guys later, bye!
